Orange Rosee Feminized Hemp Seeds - Fortuna Hemp Orange Rosee Feminized Hemp Seeds – Fortuna Hemp

(5×5) x (SQA(Z))

Orange Rose is a premium hemp strain that has farmers and users stopping to smell the flowers. This variety produces large, flavorful smokable hemp buds that are rich in CBD. Orange Rose’s low THC content and resistance to pests and diseases make it an ideal strain for licensed U.S. hemp farmers. Its tall structure and robust branching also make this cultivar suitable for biomass production.

Orange Rose is a hybrid strain whose parents are 5×5 and (SQA(Z)). Both parents are powerful hemp cultivars known for producing substantial amounts of CBD. Like its parents, Orange Rose consistently produces potent buds that are rich in CBD and low in THC.

Medical and recreational users love the soothing effects and mouth-watering aroma of Orange Rose. This strain is packed with cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other beneficial hemp compounds, which combine to offer a deeply calming and non-intoxicating effect. Orange Rose emits a sweet-and-sour aroma that keeps users coming back for more.

Orange Rose Origin

Orange Rose was originally developed by North Fork Agriculture, a well-known group of hemp breeders in Colorado. North Fork Ag has bred many potent hemp cultivars, including Limeade, Orange Chem, and Star Fruit.

The story of Orange Rose started with a hemp strain known as Tangistan R4. Tangistan R4 is believed to have been bred by Greenwerkz, a dispensary in Colorado. Tangistan R4 is a fast-flowering variety that is rich in CBD. North Fork Ag inbred this cultivar for multiple generations, stabilizing its high-CBD and low-THC characteristics. They dubbed this strain “No. 5” to distinguish it from Tangistan R4.

North Fork Ag then inbred the No. 5 strain one more time, further locking down the desirable characteristics. This variety was named “5×5.” Finally, North Fork’s breeders crossed 5×5 with a mysterious hemp cultivar known as (SQA(Z)), creating Orange Rose.

Orange Rose Lineage

Orange Rose is a descendant of 5×5 and (SQA(Z)). North Fork Ag created 5×5 by inbreeding Tangistan R4 for six generations. The 5×5 strain consistently produces CBD-rich buds that are potent and highly aromatic.

Tangistan R4 is a hybrid of Tangerine and R4. Greenwerkz is believed to have created R4 by crossing a Reclining Buddha female with a high-CBD hemp strain known as Harli-Tsu. R4, also known as Cindy’s Solution, is a popular strain among medical users seeking to relieve pain and stress. This cultivar offers a pleasant aroma of chocolate and soil, with a floral undertone.

The lineage of (SQA(Z)), also known as Square, is a mystery. In light of its abundant CBD content, this strain is believed to be a hybrid of various industrial strains of hemp.

Fortuna Hemp’s Orange Rose is a femininized hybrid of 5×5 and (SQA(Z)). Feminized seeds streamline the growing process by eliminating the need to identify and separate male plants. Approximately 99.9 percent of feminized seeds will produce all-female plants. This means that farmers can rest assured that nearly every Orange Rose seed will produce a sexually stable female plant.

Qualities of Orange Rose

Aroma

Orange Rose is a terpene-rich variety with a sweet-and-sour bouquet. This cultivar offers a delicate aroma of citrus and freshly cut roses. When broken apart, the buds emit zesty notes of decaying lime and orange, with a hint of soil.

Flavor

Orange Rose’s flavor is as enchanting as its aroma. This variety coats the palate with notes of orange and rose petals, contrasted with undertones of decaying lime and soil. These sweet-and-sour flavors make Orange Rose a great addition to a spliff or other herbal smoking blend, but Orange Rose can be enjoyed on its own, as well.

Effects

The 5×5 strain, one of the parents of Orange Rose, is known for producing high-quality smokable hemp buds that are low in THC and high in CBD. Users report that this cultivar offers a stimulating and mood-boosting effect, without leaving users feeling intoxicated.

The other parent of Orange Rose, (SQA(Z)), also produces CBD-rich buds that are low in THC. This variety is reported to offer a calming effect that may ease pain, soothe muscles, and calm the mind. Due to its low THC content, this cultivar is non-intoxicating.

Like its parents, Orange Rose is rich in CBD and low in THC. This variety provides a balanced effect that is both stimulating and soothing. Users report that this cultivar may offer relief from pain and stress, while leaving the user feeling motivated and clearheaded.

Some phenotypes of Orange Rose may be more relaxing and pain-relieving, while others may be more invigorating and mood-boosting. Farmers can select the phenotype that suits their preferences.

Structure

Orange Rose produces tall plants with long, thick branches that have significant internodal spacing. Some phenotypes may be somewhat shorter, with tighter internodal spacing. The leaves are emerald-green, with long, thin leaflets that are sharply serrated. Orange Rose forms medium to large-size colas glazed in a thick layer of trichomes. The lime-green flowers are large and fluffy, typically adorned with purple sugar leaves and amber pistils. When exposed to cold temperatures, many phenotypes of Orange Rose display stunning hues of dark-purple and red in the leaves and flowers.

Potential Medical Applications of Orange Rose

Orange Rose offers a stimulating and mood-boosting effect. This strain may provide relief from stress, anxiety, and lethargy. Users also report that this strain may relieve muscle tension and pain. Some phenotypes of Orange Rose may be more Indica-dominant and provide a more relaxing and calming effect.

Orange Rose is particularly rich in CBD—a cannabinoid whose therapeutic qualities have received much attention in recent years. Some studies have indicated that CBD may relieve pain, boost the metabolism and immune system, promote a restful sleep, and even reduce acne. Orange Rose is also abundant in other hemp compounds, including cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids, which possess an array of purported therapeutic properties.

Growing Orange Rose

Orange Rose is a hardy and resilient strain that is suitable for growers of all levels of experience. This variety is adaptable and can be grown both indoors and outdoors, using a variety of cultivation techniques.

Orange Rose can withstand minor fluctuations in temperature and pH, and it is resistant to most pests and diseases. Due to its fluffy bud structure, this variety is resistant to mold and mildew. This makes Orange Rose an excellent choice for farmers in warm and humid environments. When grown outdoors, Orange Rose thrives in warm and humid environments. Because of its large size, Orange Rose requires ample space to grow. Farmers typically plant 2,500 to 3,000 seeds per acre.

Due to the weight of the buds, some phenotypes of Orange Rose may need to be staked. This will keep the branches from bending over during the late flowering period.

Orange Rose tends to flower quickly, with most plants reaching maturity in nine weeks. As the plants reach maturity, THC levels often rise. In order to remain compliant with the federal THC threshold of 0.3 percent, farmers test the cannabinoid content of their crops often, and harvest the plants as quickly and efficiently as possible. Farmers should reference applicable state and local legislation regarding proper hemp-testing guidelines.

Certain environmental stresses such as heavy rainfall and high winds may cause the plants to increase THC production. Farmers in harsh environments can limit THC production by growing the plants indoors or in greenhouses.

Indoor Growing

Most phenotypes of Orange Rose stretch significantly during the early flowering period. When grown indoors, the plants must be trained in order to limit the stretch as they begin to bloom. High-stress and low-stress training methods such as topping, fimming, and super cropping may help to minimize the vertical stretch, increase the lateral branching, and boost the yield of Orange Rose.

Feeding Orange Rose

During the vegetative growth period, Orange Rose requires an ample supply of nitrogen. As the plants begin to flower, they require higher levels of phosphorous and potassium. To prevent nutrient deficiencies, farmers provide the plants with a diet that is rich in nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium, as well as smaller concentrations of calcium, magnesium, and sulfur, and trace amounts of chlorine, molybdenum, copper, iron, manganese, zinc, and boron.

Orange Rose flourishes in organic, slightly acidic soil, with a pH level between six and seven. Maintaining a proper pH level will enable the plants to absorb a wide spectrum of nutrients. If the pH is too low or too high, Orange Rose may display signs of nutrient deficiencies.
